Crystal Figueroa

Crystal Figueroa joined 23ABC and Azteca 42 in August of 2006 as a general assignment reporter for 23ABC News at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and later became the morning reporter for two years on the newscast she anchored.

After two years of early morning reporting, Crystal moved to weekend anchor for 23ABC News at 6 and 11 p.m. After year anchoring on weekends, she came back to mornings and became a full time anchor with Good Morning Kern County and 23ABC News at 11 a.m.

CrystalÂ’s goal every morning is to get you up and ready for your day with a smile on your face.

As part of our Spanish-language station, Crystal is the Community Relations Specialist in charge of reaching out to the public to find out and meet their needs.

Crystal came to Bakersfield after graduating with honors from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a degree in Communication and a minor in Public Relations.

Native to Los Angeles, Crystal is a Dodgers fan and loves to go shopping, but her favorite pastime is being with friends and family.
