Most Memorable Stories: Covering the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa Bay, traveling to Puerto Rico to look at the territory’s political status vote in 2012, following the University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team through a 30-1 season.

Favorite Sports Teams: I stay true to my roots by cheering for Minnesota’s pro teams…Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings and the Wild!

Favorite Music: A little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n roll. Not much I won’t listen to. Piano rock, old school hip hop, alternative rock are pretty high on my list. Have been getting into blues and jazz lately.

Pets: My childhood dog. Still living a healthy life at my parent’s house. He is a medium schnauzer named Kirby after former Minnesota Twin Kirby Puckett

Something most people don’t know about me: I stand 6’ 4” - but I use to be quite short before I grew a whole foot in one year
