Larissa Wohl joined KERO News in August 2012.
She considers herself an early bird, which is important as she anchors the 4:30 a.m. newscast, reports during “Good Morning Kern County,” and produces and anchors the 11 a.m. newscast.
Prior to being in the Central Valley, Larissa worked as a traffic anchor and general assignment reporter in Tucson, AZ. While she loved the Grand Canyon State, she was thrilled to move closer to her family in southern California.
While in Tucson, Larissa covered everything from the monsoon rains to the wildfire seasons to the controversial immigration issues surrounding the border town.
Larissa is an extremely versatile reporter and has also worked as an entertainment correspondent and host for numerous outlets in Los Angeles.
In her free time, Larissa dedicates herself to helping rescue and advocate for our stray animal population. On any given day, you can find her cleaning cages at our local shelter or transporting dogs to local rescues.
Additionally, Larissa loves to read, watch movies, catch up on her favorite T.V. shows and explore her new home.
