Im ecstatic returning to California to continue my broadcasting career. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up loving all things in the L.A. sports world (Rams, Lakers, Kings, Dodgers sorry Angels fans)
My college years were spent at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, before returning to Los Angeles to spend the next 14 years working in education as a Special Education teacher and administrator.
The journey as a local sportscaster began quietly enough in Casper, Wyoming, as the Sports Director for the CBS/Fox affiliates, as well as anchoring for KTWO, the ABC affiliate.
The next stop was Amarillo, Texas, where I hosted, produced and edited the half-hour weekly W.T. Sports All-Access show, in addition to performing duties as a fill-in weekday sports anchor, weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for the CBS affiliate.
Following Amarillo, I worked as the Weekend Sports Anchor for the CBS affiliate in Rock Island, Illinois. Rock Island is part of the Quad Cities, which included coverage in both states of Illinois and Iowa, the only state in the country which plays high school baseball and softball after the school year concludes.
Coming back to California and working in Kern County has been a true blessing. The people have been very kind, accommodating and extremely conscious of high school, collegiate and professional sports, which I really enjoy.
