Most memorable stories: Covering the 2012 Election, First coverage in Arizona of Mens 3x3 Basketball becoming an Olympic sport, anything involving children or animals.

Role Models: My mother, Father & little brother for being my biggest fans and helping me achieve my goals. I also admire Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer and Walter Cronkite.

Favorite Sports Teams: ANYTHING Arizona (except the Wildcats) ASU Sun Devil for Life. I love The Suns, Cardinals, D-backs and Coyotes. I was fortunate enough to Dance for the Suns in 2009 and The Coyotes in 2012 when they made it to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history.

Favorite Music: I listen to mostly everything. I especially love anything I can dance to. But I do have a sweet spot for country music, it's certainly my favorite.

Favorite Movies: Save the Last Dance, Pretty Woman, August Rush, Clueless, Eat Pray Love, Water for Elephants, The Notebook, Pitch Perfect,  The Hangover, Bridesmaids, Finding Nemo and Hunger Games. I’m also a huge fan of the Transformers movies.

Favorite Programs: CSI, Criminal Minds, Sons of Anarchy, Bachelor/Bachelorette, Survivor, anything on the Food Network and TLC.

Favorite Books: To be honest the only books I've read entirely are the 50 Shades books.

Hobbies/Interests: I love to dance and do hot yoga. I also have a passion for coaching. I was a cheer coach for 3 years.

Hidden Talent: I can recite the alphabet backwards staring from Z.

Pets: I have a Chihuahua Daschund mix (Chiweenie) named Nash. After Steve Nash, when he was a Phoenix Sun. I considered changing his name when Steve went to the Lakers.

Something most people don't know about me: I’m a pretty open book, but unless you knew me in high school you wouldn’t know that I played softball my freshman year. I wasn't very good but am a firm believer in trying anything at least once. You'll never know unless you try.

What I like best about Southern California: I love the weather and the proximity to the beach and home (Phoenix)

On the weekends I love to: Keep Kern County informed on all the latest happenings via the web. My weekend actually starts on Thursday when I enjoy sleeping in, catching up on my favorite shows and exploring my new town.
