Troy joined 23ABC in August of 2012 as the weeknight 11pm Anchor.

Moving to Bakersfield was a sense of homecoming for Troy who graduated from California State University Northridge in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies.

While in college, Troy worked as a news assistant at KABC, the ABC owned and operated station in Los Angeles.

Upon graduation, Troy moved to Idaho Falls to work for KIFI-TV as a reporter. While in Idaho, he reported on the nation’s largest nuclear reactor at the US Dept. Of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory.

In August of 2011, Troy moved to El Paso, TX to report for KTSM-TV. While living on the Juarez, Mexico border, he reported on drug cartel violence and federal government corruption trials.

Troy was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. He loves the Packers, but not the cold weather.

One of his biggest passions other than news is music. If he’s not busy devoting his time to either of those, then you might find him enjoying time at the beach.
