Teen Girl Charged In Family Reunion Killing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department arrested 15-year-old Laquiria Foreman in connection with a killing and assault at a family reunion.On July 5, around 12:34 a.m., the BPD received a call of a possible assault with a firearm near the intersection of First and T Streets.Police said three black teens were walking past the home when one of the teens suddenly pulled out a handgun and began to fire into the crowd.
Anthony Johnson, 37, of Jacksonville Texas, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene, the BPD reported.Chrystin Johnson, 35, of Jacksonville Texas and the wife of Anthony, sustained a moderate injury from a gunshot wound to her leg.Cynthia Mackey, 46, of Bakersfield, sustained a minor gunshot wound to her hand.Lavar Johnson, 32, of Madera, sustained a serious gunshot wound to his abdomen.Larry Dellouette, 62, of Los Angeles, sustained a minor gunshot wound to his foot.Foreman was picked up Friday afternoon by probation officers and has been taken into custody.She has been arrested on one charge of murder and four charges of attempted murder and also faces charges of conspiracy and participation in gang activity.
