ABC 23 Gets Inside Look To Kern County Fair
2009 Fair Returns As 'Best In The West'

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The always popular Kern County fair is set to open Wednesday, Sept. 23.Year in and year out, “The Best In The West” proves why that slogan sticks with the fair.This year ABC 23 got a sneak peek into all the fun, food, animals and festivities set to be on display in 2009.
The live entertainment is planned to be top-notch as always.The fair kicks off with country music star Phil Vassar. Other headline acts set to perform at the fair include '80s sensation RickSpringfield and mid-'90s boy band Hanson.
