A Man Survived After Being Shot Multiple Times Saturday Night

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A man was shot multiple times Saturday night and the person believed responsible is already in custody.The shooting happened shortly after 10pm at 33rd and Q streets.According to the Bakersfield Police, Joshua Hernandez, 24, was confronted by four men and an argument occurred.
Kevin Wilkerson, 32, allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot Hernandez multiple times at close rage.Hernandez was taken to a local hospital by private means where he was listed as stable, but required surgery.Wilkerson was arrested for attempted murder and participation in a criminal street gang.The other three suspects are still at large.Anyone with information is urged to contact the BPD.
