Wyoming: Cash For Appliances Rebate Program

Eligible Appliances, Brand And Model Numbers, Recycling And Rebate Information In Wyoming

The Wyoming Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program, popularly known as Cash for Appliances, is scheduled to start April 15.

Wyoming will implement a mail-in rebate program to assist customers in replacing older appliances with newer, more energy efficient Energy Star appliances. Wyoming is encouraging residents to recycle their older appliances that they are replacing.

The following rebates will be available:
  • Clothes washers - $100
  • Dishwashers - $50
  • Gas tankless water heaters - $150
  • Electric heat pump water heaters - $150
  • Solar water heaters - $150
  • Gas furnaces - $250

Wyoming will receive $511,000 of the nearly $300 million in funding available for the program nationwide from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
