Water Main Break Closes BC Campus

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Bakersfield College’s Panorama Campus, located in northeast Bakersfield, is closed until 6 p.m. Monday due to a water main break.Due to the loss of water, no restroom facilities or food services are available, so staff and students have been evacuated from campus. At this time, the location of the break has been determined and water has been shut off to the campus.This closure is only until 6 p.m. at this time and does not affect the Delano Campus or other satellite campuses of the college. At this time, Bakersfield College’s Panorama Campus is expected to return to full classes at 6 p.m.
