A Man Was Stabbed Saturday Night in East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A man was found in the middle of a street early Sunday night suffering from a stab wound, but so far it's not clear how he got there.Bakersfield Police responded to the report of a stabbing shortly after midnight Sunday in the 1400 block of Quincy Street.Officers found Adam Duran, 24, lying in the roadway suffering from a stab wound to his torso.
Duran was taken to Kern Medical Center where he is in serious condition.Homicide detectives were called out due to the severity of the injury and are now conducting the investigation as to what happened.There is no suspect information either at this time.Anyone with information though is urged to contact the BPD.
