Police: Man Wanted For Stealing Bank Bag

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Bakersfield Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for grand theft.On Oct. 6, around 12:20 p.m., Bakersfield police said the man was observed to lean into the victim's open vehicle, while it was parked at a gas pump at the Fastrip 4013 South H Street, and remove a bank bag containing cash, checks and money orders.Police said that this is when the man fled in a black late 90s Dodge Ram truck.
The man is described as Hispanic male in his 20s.Anyone with information related to the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Brian West at 326-3553.
