Last week, 23ABC took the folks at PETA to task. And we have heard from a lot of you about what we said.

We urged viewers to call the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and tell them to take their nonsense elsewhere. They were all bent out of shape because an agriculture teacher in Rosamond demonstrated how to castrate a pig without a painkiller -- a common farming practice. Here's what some people had to say.

"Amen Brother! PETA puts animals right up on the same level as humans, God gave man dominion over the animals … PETA is ruled by their emotions instead of common sense," said Moser.

We also heard from a woman who disagreed with our editorial. "I bet you have cats hanging up in your garage," the female viewer said.

And then there was this e-mail from Will Moffitt, who was obviously ticked off.

"Your editorial about PETA p----d me off. I wouldn't be sad if someone cut off your testicles without giving you a painkiller," Moffitt said.
