Win 'Hairspray' Movie Prizes

Movie Musical Opens Nationwide July 20

Put up your locks and enter now for your chance to win cool movie prizes in our Entertainment section's contest in conjunction with New Line Cinema's release of "Hairspray."

The Movie
Sixteen years after the release of the original film, New Line Cinema is bringing a feature film adaptation of the Tony award-winning Broadway production "Hairspray" to life.

Featuring new and original material based on John Waters' 1988 cult classic about star-struck teenagers on a local Baltimore dance show, the comedy features a remarkable collection of talent including John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, Allison Janney, Brittany Snow, Zac Efron and Elijah Kelley.

The film is directed by Adam Shankman ("Bringing Down the House") based on a new screenplay by Leslie Dixon ("Freaky Friday," "Outrageous Fortune"), and is produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron ("Chicago").

Rated PG for language, some suggestive content and momentary teen smoking, "Hairspray" opens in theaters nationwide July 20.

The Contest
Five winners will be selected at random to receive a "Hairspray" prize package including a silk scarf, bandana, lip balm, gum, a CD Single of "Welcome to the 60s," performed by John Travolta and Nikki Blonsky from the "Hairspray" soundtrack and a CD Single of "Ladies Choice" performed by Zac Efron from the Hairspray soundtrack (both singles in stores now) and a makeup bag (courtesy of Cover Girl Cosmetics).

Prize packages in this contest are subject to change.

The contest runs July 18 through Aug. 1. The contest is for U.S. residents only. For a complete set of contest rules, click here.
