Things apparently got so ugly for Lindsay Lohan on "Ugly Betty," that the actress has had guest shots on the sitcom cut from six episodes to four, according to the New York Post."It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people," a source told the Post. "She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess."The show moved to New York this year from Los Angeles to reportedly save on production costs.
The source told the Post that that there was animosity between Lohan and "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera. The source claimed in the Post report that when Ferrera's character de-pants Lohan's character in a scene, Lohan wasn't wearing underwear.A friend of Lohan denied the claims of Lohan causing any trouble on the "Ugly Betty" set, and pins the blame on Ferrera instead."America was mean to Lindsay," Lohan's friend told the Post. "Producers give her too much power. Lindsay didn't do the last two episodes because America didn't like her and got her kicked off."Cooling off the claims in the report, Ferrera's representative said, "America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are," the Post reported. The paper also quoted Lohan's representative over the purported matter, who said: "Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time."
