Professor Wrestling: Rourke At WrestleMania?
My Musings As Big Show Approaches

Listen up!!Class is in session. Are you getting excited for "WrestleMania 25"? I'm not going to lie. This looks like a winner on paper, as Vince McMahon does another stellar job in hyping his signature pay-per-view.
In no particular order, here are my thoughts on what's been going on the past few weeks. If you're overwhelmingly impressed with my musings, please don't send money. I'd rather have you donate to the charity of your choice.Mickey Rourke?
There are reports Mickey Rourke, the star of "The Wrestler," will make an appearance at the Houston show. The plan is for him to accompany Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat and Jimmy Snuka to the ring. Piper, Steamboat and Snuka are expected to then face Chris Jericho in a handicap match. While I like the idea of Rourke being a part of the show, I have a better idea. The legends shouldn't be wrestlers. Let them stay retired. Instead, they should be lumberjacks, surrounding the ring. Add a few to the mix, like Jim Duggan and Arn Anderson, just to give the fans a few extra faces to look at. So who does Jericho face? How about Evan Bourne, the ECW up-and-comer? You can't tell me they wouldn't put on a great match. And after Jericho cheats in the end to win, in comes Rourke to deliver his Randy "The Ram" Robinson move on the heel. The crowd goes wild. That's what I would do. Go ahead, call me genius.
Vickie Guererro
I used to hate Vickie. I thought she was too old to be a believable love interest for Edge. I was wrong. She's a heel. Heels have one job: to get booed by the crowd. She gets booed louder and louder at every appearance. There's a reason she's a general manager for two shows, and it isn't to "fill in" for the injured Stephanie McMahon on "Raw." The reason she's getting all this airtime is because she's good at what she does. And for the record, the Big Show, Edge, John Cena triple-threat-match-love-triangle angle is fantastic. I hoot every time I watch the latest installment.Miz and Morrison vs. The Colon Brothers
These two teams will meet at WM25 to decide the undisputed WWE tag team champions. What a great idea! They have good chemistry together, with the somewhat-green Miz doing a better job in the ring from when he first started (it was pretty rough). To unify the belts gives this a big time PPV feel, which is perfect for the year's biggest show.No Playboy
In the past few years, WWE has had a deal with Playboy where one of the Divas would pose nude in the magazine. I haven't seen that pitch so far this year, as WWE is sticking with its rumored pledge to be rated PG only. Professor Jr. is 12, and he likes to watch wrestling with the old man every once in a while. I know he knows what Playboy is, but it's just kind of nice not to have to deal with it while watching WWE. No one seems to miss it.Koko B. Ware In WWE Hall Of Fame
This guy might be a sweetheart, but he doesn't belong in the WWE Hall of Fame. He's being inducted by the Honky Tonk Man. If I were Mr. McMahon, I'd switch it up and have Koko induct Honky. The HOF is a strong part of WM every year, but this is so dumb, it takes away from those who have made it, like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Steve Austin. Do you really think Koko is on their level?Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels
This could -- and should -- steal the show. But make no mistake, UT will not lose. His WM unbeaten streak is more important to business to keep alive than Michaels being the one to end it. If Michaels were ECW's Jack Swagger, for example, and UT was going to retire, I could see him losing. But these are two weather-beaten mongrels who know how to put on a great show. This was a brilliant matching. Again, McMahon is the best when building up for his signature event.Old School, New School

This year, I'm going to be giving away a lot of stuff to the grand prize winner. At least two WWE DVD's, Chris Jericho's biography and whatever else I can cram into an oversized mailer. What'll you do? Send me the winners of the matches. Whoever has the most right gets the loot. But the card isn't final yet, so don't send in any entries just yet. Wait until NEXT WEEK, when most of the matches are finalized. Or else. That's it!Class is dismissed!(Professor Wrestling is a masked employee of Internet Broadcasting, hailing from Parts Unknown.
