Jamie Waylett, who plays Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter movies, has been charged with growing 10 marijuana plants.

Britain's Telegraph reported that Waylett was scheduled to appear in court later this month. If convicted of cannabis production, Waylett could face up to 14 years in prison, Fox News reported.

The 19-year-old actor was arrested in April when police said they found eight bags of marijuana in Waylett's car. Police later found marijuana plants during a raid of Waylett's home, which he shares with his mother and siblings, according to E! Online.

Waylett's latest movie, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," is due in theaters July 15.
