There's nothing the Twitterverse loves more than rumors, but Justin Bieber just might be a close No. 2.

The teen Canadian signing sensation is constantly tweeting and his Beliebers are right there with him -- as are those who can't stand him.

That might help explain why Bieber has become such a popular target for Internet death hoaxes.

The first false tale about Bieber, that he had committed suicide in August 2009, proved so popular it popped up again in January 2010. Since then, the online world has seen Bieber gunned down in a New York nightclub, overdosing on cocaine and breaking his neck.

Add it all up and the Canadian pop star has died more times than a villain in a slasher movie. Something to keep in mind the next time somebody tweets "RIP Bieber."
