Jessica Simpson Plans To Adopt Children

LOS ANGELES -- Although she's almost legally single, Jessica Simpson has babies on the brain. She wants kids.She told "Extra" that she wants to adopt children before she has any of her own. She cited Angelina Jolie as an "amazing" role model.Simpson's publicist told The Associated Press that she's exploring options. But the spokesman said nothing has been finalized yet.
Simpson filed for divorce from Nick Lachey last December. Shuter said Simpson and her family have anonymously contributed funds to a smattering of Mexican orphanages for several years now. The singer started visiting the orphanages with a church group at age 11. Earlier this week, Simpson was ranked as one of FHM magazine’s Sexiest Women in the World.
