LAW VEGAS (AP) -
Sin City is preparing to claim its place on the party town list for another year with celebrity-studded New Year's Eve bashes, exclusive concerts, and a fireworks display billed as the country's largest.
Big-ticket musical acts including Beyonce, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Black Keys are expected to help lure 330,000 visitors to Las Vegas Monday.
A legion of law enforcement officers will be watching the revelers closely, as will the eager casino bosses concerned with ending 2012 with a profitable bang.
Nightclubs are touting pricey parties hosted by celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj and Brandy.
Hotels are dealing a full house this weekend, with occupancy approaching 100 percent.
Also on tap is an eight-minute fireworks display that will shoot from the rooftops of seven hotel-casinos.
