Expect some light scattered showers today, but I don't expect to see anything measurable in the valley. I think you'll be seeing big puffy cumulus clouds today with a fresh breeze, average highs in the mid-50s and great air quality. There are no restrictions but burning is discouraged. As for the moutains, we'll get just above freezing in the mid to upper-30s in the mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park, with a brief return to the lower 40s in the Kern River Valley this afternoon.
