Strawberry Rosewater Lassi

1 cup plain, low-fat yogurt
10 strawberries, washed, caps removed
2 tsp. honey
1 tsp. rosewater
6 ice cubes

Combine the yogurt, strawberries, honey, rosewater and ice as desired in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately. Ice cubes are optional.

Cantaloupe Frosty

1 bag lemon grass tea, green tea or mint iced tea
½ cantaloupe, peeled and cut into chunks

Steep one bag of tea in hot water for about 20 minutes. Pour into six ice cube trays squares and freeze. Combine the tea ice cubes and cantaloupe in a blender on high speed until smooth. Serve immediately.

Carob Peanut Butter Banana

1 cup of milk of choice 2 frozen bananas 2 tbsp. peanut butter, creamy or crunchy 1 tbsp. carob powder 1 tbsp. protein powder (optional) ½ tsp. ascorbic acid (vitamin C powder) 6 ice cubes

Pour the milk in a blender and add the frozen bananas, peanut butter, carob and protein powder as desired until smooth and serve immediately.

Berry Delicious

½ cup apple juice (1 apple, juiced) 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed if fresh ½ cup cashews, unsalted ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract 6 ice cubes

Pour the apple juice into a blender and add the blueberries, cashews, vanilla and ice cubes. Blend on high speed until smooth and serve immediately.
