BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County Department of Public Health announced that they have updated the H1N1 Flu vaccine clinics.Matt Constantine states, “We are pleased that this supply has arrived. Because it did just arrive, we will finalize our emergency plans for distribution as quickly as possible. All sectors of Kern County will eventually receive the vaccine.”First plans for distribution include hosting H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics at the following locations:
• Wednesday, December 2 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Shafter Public Health Office. --- 329 Central Valley Highway. Shafter, CA
• Thursday, December 3 from 9 am to 11 am at Rosamond Community Services District. --- 3179 35th Street West, Rosamond, CA
• Thursday, December 3 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Mojave Veterans Hall. --- 15580 “O” Street, Mojave, CA
• Friday, December 4 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Inyokern Baptist Church. --- 6521 Plains Avenue, Inyokern, CA
Dr. Jonah adds, “We can now expand to include all people in the priority groups which include: • Children 6 months to 24 years
• Pregnant Women
• Caregivers of children 6 months of age and younger
• Persons with Underlying Health Conditions 24 years to 64 years
• Healthcare Workers.
