A couple has taken their obsession with Twitter to the next level, naming their newborn daughter Hashtag.

Yes, little Hashtag Jameson entered the world at about 10 p.m. Saturday, according to her mother's Facebook page.

The woman, whose first name was blacked out in screen shots of the status update, added: "She weys 8 pounds and i luv her so much!!!!!"According to Yahoo!, her equally spelling-challenged friends started leaving creative congratulatory comments. 

"Aww babes you finally had youre Tweetybird xxx," one wrote.

This isn't the first time parents have drawn baby name inspiration from social media.

In February 2011, a man in Egypt named his firstborn daughter Facebook in a nod to the role that the site played in the start of the Arab Spring.
