Reports show that babies score higher on development tests if their moms get enough Vitamin D during pregnancy.

A Spanish study looked at nearly 2,000 mothers and their babies.

Researchers found that inadequate Vitamin D is linked to poorer mental and movement skills in infants.

They also say women from northern areas, where there is less sunlight, have lower levels of the vitamin.
