Whole Foods Market has announced that by 2018, all products in their United States and Canada stores must and will be labeled indicating whether they contain genetically modified organisms, better known as GMOs.
In Nov. 2012, Proposition 37, regarding mandatory labeling of GMOs, was on the California ballots. The proposition was defeated though.
