Oakland, CA -- (Sports Network) - The Oakland Athletics on Saturday dealt infielder Jack Hannahan to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for minor league pitcher Justin Souza.

Hannahan hit just .193 with one homer and eight RBI in 52 games with Oakland from April 24 until June 29, before he was optioned back to Triple-A Sacramento.

Souza was 6-6 with a 3.35 earned-run average at Double-A West Tennessee. He will report to the A's Double-A team at Midland.
