A University of Baltimore law student walked through an Oriole Park at Camden Yards turnstile at just the right time.

As a result, he made team history Tuesday night and won $50,000.

Kevin Gracie, 24, of Ellicott City, was the team's 50 millionth visitor to Camden Yards since the stadium opened in 1992.

The team and the Maryland Lottery teamed up to give Gracie the money, season tickets for five years, a jersey and a package of VIP amenities.

The Orioles hosted the Boston Red Sox Tuesday night in the second of a three-game set.

"This is unbelievable," Gracie said. "Being an Orioles fan really paid off. I'm as excited about the season tickets as I am about the $50,000, because it means I'll be able to come to even more games."

Coincidentally, the Orioles plan to welcome the 100 millionth fan in team history sometime during their next home series against the New York Yankees. That series starts Friday and goes through Sunday.

The lucky fan this weekend will get $100,000, in addition to tickets and a VIP package.
