Barbie dolls could be banned in West Virginia, the Charleston Gazette reported.According to the newspaper, Democrat Jeff Eldridge introduced a bill in the state's House of Delegates on Tuesday that would ban the sale of Barbie dolls in West Virginia. The bill would also ban the sale of "other dolls that influence girls to be beautiful," according to the Gazette. The newspaper reported that according to Eldridge, the dolls encourage girls to put more value on their physical appearance than their intelligence.
