Sheriff: Fight Breaks Out, Man Stabbed In Back

Deputies found a man in the hospital suffering from a stab wound to his back.

Around 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, Deputies from the Tehachapi Substation were dispatched to a report of a stabbing in the 21300 block of Golden Hills Boulevard.

Deputies found Jeremiah McPheron, 20, at Tehachapi Hospital being treated for a four inch stab wound to his back.

Investigation revealed McPheron was involved in an argument at his apartment with David William Schaar and Matthew Robert Wayne Barns, both of Tehachapi.

During the argument and an ensuing struggle with Schaar and Barns. Deputies said McPheron was stabbed once in the back.

Deputies reported that McPheron was in stable condition at Tehachapi Hospital as of last night.

Deputies are currently searching for Schaar and Barns.

Schaar is a 20-year-old white male. He is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs around 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Barns is a 19 year old white male. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Schaar and Barns are believed to be driving a Gold 1998 Saturn with a license number of 5XWH805.
