Probation Searches Yield 2 Meth Busts

LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. -- Two men were arrested after sheriff deputies said they were found with methamphetamine for sale.At about 4 p.m. Sunday, deputies from the Kern Valley Substation responded to 2512 Pinon St. in Lake Isabella to conduct a probation search for narcotics.During the search of the residence, James Henry, 58, was found to be in possession of approximately 1 ounce of methamphetamine for sale, the Kern County Sheriff’s Department said.
A search warrant was also executed for the search of the residence and vehicles at the scene.After the execution of the search warrant, Gary Victory, 43, was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine for sale, KCSD said.Methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and $2,170 cash were seized and both men were booked into the Central Receiving Facility on various narcotics charges.
