Infant Died At Kern Valley Hospital

WOFFORD HEIGHTS, Calif. -- Around 10 p.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Roby Lane in Wofford Heights regarding an infant not breathing; homicide detectives are investigating.When deputies arrived, they said they located a 9-week-old infant not breathing.Deputies performed C.P.R. on the infant until medical personnel arrived.
The infant was transported to Kern Valley Hospital where the infant was pronounced dead.Homicide detectives responded and are investigating the death.An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday to determine a cause of death.
