2009 East Rutherford, NJ -- (Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets have signed guard/forward Terrence Williams, whom they took with the 11th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.Per team policy, details of the contract were not released. Williams is the second first round pick to sign -- Utah's Eric Maynor is the other. Williams, who was a Third-Team All-American and First-Team All-Big East as a member of the Louisville Cardinals last season, helped lead the school to their first Big East regular season and conference titles in 2008-09. Last season, his senior year, Williams averaged 12.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 37 contests, as the Cardinals earned the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
