Vince Gill Presented With Buck Owens Guitar

BAKERSFIELD -- Country music star Vince Gill played at a sold-out crowd at the Fox Theater Tuesday night, but first he was given a gift from an old friend at KUZZ.

Once upon a time, Buck gave Vince a guitar, a not-so-nice guitar. Vince said Buck told him he always felt bad that he didn't give him a nice one. On Tuesday, program director K.C. Adams presented Vince with the guitar Buck always meant to give him, with the inscription, "I finally got it right, a fan, Buck Owens."

Vince said he is honored.
