Fire In Arvin Damages Vineyard Packaging Plant

BAKERSFIELD -- An early morning fire in Arvin reduced a packaging plant owned by a local vineyard to ashes.
The 2-alarm fire broke out at a building owned by Anthony's Vineyards shortly before 3 a.m. on November 28th.
The fire consumed a large shed on the property.
Dozens of firefighters battled flames several feet in the air.
The fire knocked out powerlines in the area.
170 PG&E customers lost power between Sycamore Road and Sunset Road.
There are no reports of any injuries.
