Cris Ornelas is 23ABC's South County Reporter.Cris brings more than a dozen years experience in the news business.He graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 1992 with a B.A. in Mass Communications.
Cris started his love of news at KOA radio in Denver. He then went on to work in TV news in Grand Junction, Colo., before joining KKTV in Colorado Springs in 2000.Cris manned KKTV's Pueblo bureau for 16 months before moving to Colorado Springs.After five years at KKTV, Cris took a job at KOB in Albuquerque, NM.Cris returned to Colorado Springs to work at FOX21 in September 2009.In his spare time, Cris enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, camping and rooting for the Broncos.For newstips and ideas, please e-mail Cris at cris.ornelas@kero.com.
