Crystal Figueroa joined ABC23 and Azteca 42 in August of 2006. She started reporting for ABC23 News at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and later became reporter for the ABC23 No Bull Morning Show. Crystal enjoyed her tenure as morning reporter for nearly two years.

Crystal then moved up as weekend anchor for ABC23 News at 6 and 11 p.m. After a year on weekends, she went back to full time anchoring.

Today, she co-anchors Good Morning Kern County with Mike Hart Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.

As part of our Spanish-language station, Crystal is the Community Relations Specialist in charge of reaching out to the public to find out and meet their needs.

Crystal came to Bakersfield after graduating with honors from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a degree in Communication and a minor in Public Relations.

Native to Los Angeles, Crystal is a Dodgers fan and loves to go shopping, but her favorite pastime is being with friends and family.
