TEHACHAPI, Calif. -- Search and Rescue teams said they saw a small plane crash in the mountains near Tehachapi on Wednesday.

The coroner's office confirms two men have died from the crash.

KFSN in Fresno reports the man flying the plane was Dick Smith and the passenger was his 15-year-old son, both of Fresno.

Smith is the owner of Smitty Bail Bonds in Fresno.
