Wildfire Rages Near Tehachapi

ROSAMOND -- County fire crews are battling a 6,000 acre blaze from the ground and air near Rosamond.Ground crew are in place to near several structures in Oak Creek Canyon, an area under threat by the wildfire.Part-time residents where told to evacuate this afternoon as the fire came closer to their cabins.
The White Fire broke out before 9 a.m. Sunday after being spotted by an air attack unit on route to another fire.Currently, Willow Springs Road has been closed.Crews from Los Angeles County and the Bureau of Land Management are also on-scene fighting the fire, which is under investigation.
