Judith Denny of Bakersfield is the winner of the 2007 St. Jude Dream Home.
Denny's name was drawn Saturday night during a live telethon on ABC23. The telethon was the culmination of a six-month campaign to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This year's event raised $1,455,300, which is a national record for a St. Jude Dream Home campaign, according to event organizers. People entered the raffle by purchasing tickets for $100 with all proceeds going to the hospital.
St. Jude Children Research Hospital treats children with catastrophic illnesses and pays all expenses for that treatment.
