Man Sought In Tehachapi Murder

TEHACHAPI, Calif. -- The Kern County Sheriff's Department says they have identified a suspect in the murder of Michelle Cross, who died from a gunshot wound last Wednesday after being driven to the Walgreens parking lot along Highway 202 in Tehachapi.David Rosenberg, 39, of Tehachapi is being sought by the Kern County Sheriff's Department. Rosenberg is described as being 6'2", 180 pounds, with dark hair and green eyes.Sheriff's detectives spent the day Wednesday searching for Rosenberg at his last known address in Tehachapi. At this time the Sheriff's Department has not said what the connection between Rosenberg and Cross is or how long Rosenberg has lived in the Tehachapi area.
Rosenberg is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts should contact the Kern County Sheriff's Department.
