Food For Homeless Stole From Local Business

A local company is back at square one after thieves robbed food collected to feed the homeless this Thanksgiving.

Help-U-Sell Real Estate set up a Tuff Shed in front of its office in the Vons shopping center in north Bakersfield.

It had been handing out raffle tickets for prizes to anyone who dropped off canned goods.

But someone broke into the shed and stole all the food.

Employees say they'll continue their efforts, but they'll now store the food inside their office.
