Teen Driver To Be Charged In Crash That Killed Motorcyclists

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Police said a teenage girl behind the wheel of an SUV that hit and killed a pair of motorcycle riders will be charged with vehicular manslaughter.The California Highway Patrol said the teen, whose name has not been released, failed to stop at the intersection of Lake and Webster streets in east Bakersfield early Sunday.The SUV ran into a motorcycle, killing 38-year-old Ronald Rathbun and his passenger, 21-year-old Nicanor Ambriz.
Police said the teen driver of the SUV had not been drinking.
