New Year's Eve Events Around Town

If you still don't have your New Year's Eve plans dialed in, here's what's happening around town Monday night.

Trout's has a fancy new Blackboard Stage at 805 North Chester Avenue. They're featuring Wade Hayes, Terry Hanson and The Westerners and a special appearance by Homer Joy, composer of "Streets of Bakersfield."

Kosmos at 1623 19th Street in downtown Bakersfield is having their biggest New Year’s Eve party ever. For $25 at the door, you can enjoy a buffet and champagne along with free party favors and a chance to win a free vacation for two to Las Vegas. Event begins at 8 p.m.

Amigos on District Boulevard is charging $15 at the door for a concert with Elevation 406. Price includes buffet and champagne and a VIP party favor pack. Event begins at 7:30 p.m.

McGees on Chester Avenue is charging $25 at the door for a night of non-stop classic rock, martinis and champagne, plus party favors and dinner. Event begins at 8 p.m.

There is no charge tonight at El Cazador at 3500 Truxtun Avenue. The party includes dollar drinks, party favors, a champagne toast, plus the famous $1000 balloon drop filled with cash and prizes. Event begins at 8 p.m.

Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace at 2620 Buck Owens Boulevard is having its annual New Year's Eve bash. Actor Gary Sinise is joining the Buckaroos along with the Lt. Dan Band. Event begins at 7:30 p.m.
