Soldier Continues To Recover From War Wounds

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The family of a local soldier severely burned in Iraq said he remains in a lot of pain, but is healing very quickly.Pfc. Jamin Moore was burned on more than 60 percent of his body when an improvised explosive device exploded near his Humvee.A family representative said he remains heavily sedated while doctors perform skin grafts.
Moore will remain in San Antonio, Texas for the next three months. After that, he'll undergo 16 months of physical therapy.His mother said she reads cards and letters of support to him every day.
