American Cancer Society Fights Disease With Flowers
Daffodil Days Held To Raise Cancer Awareness

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Each year the American Cancer Society fights deadly disease with flowers.On Tuesday, Kern County's chapter of the American Cancer Society will be kicking off "Daffodil Days"Donations raised from the sale of the yellow flowers will go toward cancer research and treatment programs.
Tuesday's kickoff open house takes place from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Best Western Inn on Buck Owens Boulevard.
