3 Weekend Stabbings Occur In Delano

DELANO, Calif. -- Delano police are looking into three separate stabbings this weekend in the span of eight hours.Officers said at about 7 p.m. Saturday, a man riding a chrome bicycle stabbed Jason Cubal on Dover Street.His wounds are not considered life-threatening.
At about 1 a.m. Sunday, officers said they found another stabbing victim at Delano Medical Center. That man was stabbed nine times in the torso and head, officials said.At about 3 a.m., police said they found Graciella Solis at a home on Garces Highway. Police said she said her ex-boyfriend had stabbed her several times.He was later arrested.Anyone with information is urged to call Delano Police Department.
