Golden West Casino celebrated its grand re-opening Thursday night after the building received a complete makeover.

The casino, which is located on Union Avenue in South Bakersfield, completely remodeled the card room. The owners decided to celebrate by giving back to the community which has supported them for the last 13 years.

Dozens of people showed up to the party which included Vegas-style entertainment, complete with costumes and even stilts.

The GM of ABC23 was in attendance, taking part in a charitable game of Texas Hold 'em.

The winner received $7,500 to be donated to their charity of choice.

At the celebration, the casino owners announced that they will also give $100,000 a year to a local charitable organization.
