Local supporters of Barack Obama are calling for the removal of a radio talk show host, after they discovered his Web site shows fake bumper stickers with racist slogans.

E-mail correspondence over the weekend details how local Democratic leaders planned to boycott advertisers on KNZR for the bumper stickers they saw on Jaz McKay's Web site.

They said they should "let [KNZR] know what [they] think of this kind of garbage," Candi Easter, Kern County Democratic chairwoman, said in an e-mail to Obama supporters.

McKay defended his right to free speech. "It was a joke," McKay said. He added that he believes the current democratic election for a Presidential nominee is about race.

The material was created on another website, and not by McKay. KNZR general manager Steve Darnell said McKay would not be disciplined.
